They do a far better job at exfoliation than flannels (for deep cleansing). They not only remove makeup but gently exfoliate skin whist cleansing and dry much quicker hence are more hygienic. Muslin cloths are really great for lightly exfoliating your skin and are gentle enough to be used on the most sensitive of skins.
