This organic Grand Cru dry Riesling has a decent fruity, yeasty taste with a lovely acidity. It has nutty, mixed fruit, slightly citric aromas, with herbaceous notes. The Hohenmorgen vineyard, situated at the western edge of Deidesheim, is a south-facing slope with a small, exclusive 2.76-hectare area. The soil is rich in pure eroded sandstone. Deidesheim is the historical centre of quality wine-making in the Palatinate area, in the Pfalz region.
