Bourgueil, Les Marsaules, Domaine du Bel Air 2016 is a red wine from the United Kingdom. It has an expressive nose with aromas of crushed black berries and wild strawberries, along with slightly earthy and smoky notes. The flavours are balanced and structured, with black fruits, tar, tobacco and black olive. The tannins are tightly integrated and the acidity is cool, leading to a wonderfully perfumed and long finish. This wine is excellent for drinking now, and will surely improve over the next five or ten years in the cellar. The Domaine du Bel-Air estate, owned by Pierre Gauthier and his family since 1979, produces wines of great intensity combining concentration, finesse and elegance. The estate benefits from a heritage of old Cabernet Franc vines in the greatest terroirs of Bourgueil.
