I have done the hard work collecting, drying, sieving and preparing the seed. The plant is really easy to grow and looks very attractive with its pink flowers. Presumably the nicotine in the sap acts as a natural deterrent to slugs, snails etc as nothing seems to eat the plants, not even my chickens!
