A medium Koroneiki wellbalanced extra virgin olive oil; freshly mown grass aroma with lingering notes of banana and fruity flavour with subtle notes of pear & almond leading to a mild peppery finish. The oil is extracted cold within hours of the olives being harvested so as to ensure that it retains it's rich aroma and high nutrient value. High in monounsaturated fats, an indispensable part of the Mediterranean diet. Produced exclusively from organically grown Koroneiki olives from the Chania region of northern Crete, an area which is globally acclaimed for the production of top quality olive oil and has been awarded EU PGI status.
