Aronia, also known as the chokeberries, is a genus of deciduous shrubs in the family Rosaceae. The sour berries can be eaten raw off the bush, but are more frequently processed. Foods and drinks in which Aronia can be used include: muffins, pies, cookies, wine, jam, tea, and juices.
