It is very easy to grow and it produces solid dark red heads of approx 1.5-2kg. It's a compact grower and spacing of plants can be as little as 35gcm. This tasty cabbage is wonderfully crisp, firm and crunchy and can be used to make an unusual red coloured coleslaw, but is also ideal for making soup, curries, can be stir fried, can be chopped finely for salads as well as boiled, drained and buttered!
