Large packet of 50 Orlaya Grandiflora Seeds - makes an excellent cut flower. Can be grown as an attractive garden plant. Seeds germinate easily and young plants can tolerate frost so either sow in the autumn for a larger earlier spring crop or in the spring as an annual for a mid summer crop. Seeds are large and spiky. When they germinate two long thin leaves emerge that look like grass but they are soon followed by bigger feathery leaves that look a bit like parsley. Overwintered plants are much taller and stronger than spring sown however both will flower well. They can either be direct sown into the ground or into seed trays or modules. Plants left to flower will set seed and come back by themself the following year.
