I've been growing this beautiful and powerful garlic for 6 years now. No sprays, or interference in any way. Apart from weeds trying to grow near them, they are otherwise so easy to grow. I'd recommend planting what you don't eat in mid October. Towards the end of June, you'll get flower scapes which are very nice stir fried. Then early to mid July you'll have lovely ruby red cloves that are very powerful with their flavour. You'll receive 20-30 small cloves in a large letter box. This keeps the postage low for the buyer.
