Papaver rhoeas - common field poppy, Flanders Poppy. A most common form of poppy in the UK. Seen growing wild in fields and borders. Field poppies are also used as a culinary flavouring. The seeds germinate quickly usually within 2 - 3 weeks at approx 15 Deg C.
