Tenuta del Melo Gavi DOCG 2023 is one of the finest Gavis we've tasted and sold. Orchard fruits with a hint of almond burst on the palate. This Gavi is perfect with fish or roasted vegetables. Owned by the passionate Rossi Cairo family, who have overseen a conversion to organic and biodynamic certified production. Grapes are handpicked and fermented for approximately 20 days. The Cortese grapes are handpicked and fermented in stainless steel tank before being aged on its lees for three months, giving fantastic concentration, richness, and mouth-watering freshness. Bright orchard fruits, runny honey, and candied citrus fruits merge with subtle notes of almond. Lively, balanced, and drinkable, especially paired with fresh fish or roasted vegetable dishes.
