This wine comes from low yielding, organically tended vines on a south facing limestone hillside. Aged half in cuvee and half in 3-5 year old barrels, it has ripe fruit, nicely cosseted by a refreshing saline quality emanating from limestone. Great value red wine from the Côtes de Bordeaux. This Merlot-forward blend shows elegant florals, redcurrants and blackberries with a fine seam of limestone minerality running through. Made from a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec grapes, it has an ABV of 14.5%. Certified organic and low sulphur, this wine is suitable for those looking for a more natural wine experience.
