Thompson and Morgan Organic Broccoli Green Sprouting Seeds - Size: 20 x 10 x 5cm - Thompson & Morgan - Wilko

£3

Witness the magic unfold with the Thompson and Morgan Organic Broccoli Green Sprouting Seeds. It yields a significant amount of flavourful heads along with tender side shoots throughout autumn, thanks to its frost tolerance. This nutritious vegetable is ideal for steaming, roasting, or stir-frying. Regularly picking side shoots encourages further production. Sow broccoli seeds in a meticulously prepared seedbed between March and June at a depth of 13mm (½ inch) and 30cm (12 inches) apart. Transplant to their permanent positions approximately five weeks later, when the seedlings have developed four to five leaves. Keep Calabrese well-watered and avoid allowing them to dry out, as this may hinder growth. Regular hoeing between plants helps prevent weeds and brings insect larvae to the surface. The main heads of Calabrese can be harvested starting in September, once they reach 10cm (4 inches) in diameter, prior to flowering. Leaving the plant in place allows for the development of side shoots, which can be harvested when they reach 10cm (4 inches) in length. Consistent picking will encourage the growth of additional shoots. Culinary note: Calabrese is also suitable for freezing. Product Specifications: Position in: Full sun. Height: Up to 60cm. Spread: Up to 60cm. It is supplied as one packet containing 150 Seeds, delivered with comprehensive growing and care instructions. Images provided are for guidance only, and expected outcomes on maturity may vary due to different growing conditions. The image may also vary seasonally as deciduous plants lose their leaves in colder months. The pack contains approximately 150 seeds.

The Thompson and Morgan Organic Broccoli Green Sprouting Seeds would be suitable for individuals looking to cultivate their own sprouts and add nutrient-rich vegetables to their diet.
