Dom. Jean-Marc Pillot Bourgogne Le Haut des Champs Chassagne Montrachet 2021 White Wine 75cL, Organic, 100% Chardonnay, France, Burgundy - Cote deBy Winebuyers

£45

Dom. Jean-Marc Pillot's Bourgogne Le Haut des Champs is a 2021 white wine from the Burgundy region of France. The cousin of Francois Carillon, Jean-Marc has managed his eponymous Pillot estate since 1991, with his son Antonin joining him. The majority of vineyards are in Chassagne, but there is also a bit of land owned in Puligny, Meursault, and Santenay. The vineyards are currently in conversion to organics, and preserving purity and energy in the wines has a high priority, with new oak use kept around 10%. This wine boasts a distinct bouquet, offering delightful nectarine and peach aromas. On the palate, it presents a harmonious balance with a subtle touch of acidity, imparting a saline quality and culminating in a refreshing, bitter lemon finish. This is a wine of chiselled structure, in a lean, fresh, balanced, and complex style, suitable for both men and women.

This Dom. Jean-Marc Pillot Bourgogne Le Haut des Champs Chassagne Montrachet 2021 White Wine is perfect for Chardonnay lovers seeking an organic and refined white wine from France's Burgundy region, specifically the Cote deBy.
